Enjoy a unique event in the Dominican Republic: Humpback Whale Watching, as these magnificent creatures visit our coasts once a year between January and March to breed.

We start the journey from your hotels, traveling through the Eastern Plain to Las Cañitas in Miches.

Upon arrival at the Las Cañitas dock, we board the boat to head to the Whale Sanctuary. We will spend approximately 2.5 hours searching for and observing these incredible animals.

After whale watching, we head to Cayo Levantado, also known as Bacardí Island, where we will enjoy a buffet-style traditional Dominican lunch and some beach time (about 1.5 hours).

After lunch, we board the boat again to head to the Samaná dock, where a safari truck will take us to the ranch. There, we will ride horses for about 30 minutes through virgin forest and along the riverbank, reaching the Limón Waterfall. Standing over 60 meters high, the waterfall is a perfect spot for a refreshing and rejuvenating swim.

After spending time at the waterfall, we return to the ranch, board the safari truck again, and head back to the Samaná dock to begin the journey back.

Restrictions: No pregnant women, and no individuals in wheelchairs, with crutches, or walking sticks.

Includes: Land and sea transportation, breakfast, lunch, rum, soda, water, and a certified guide.

What to Bring: Sunscreen, cap or hat, sunglasses, beachwear, towel, and tennis shoes.

Places to Visit: Whale Sanctuary, Cayo Levantado, Limón Waterfall, and a boat tour.

Timing:

• 06:00 AM: Departure from Bayahibe
• 07:20 AM: Departure from Bávaro
• 09:30 AM: Arrival at Las Cañitas dock, board the boat, and begin whale watching
• 11:30 AM: End of whale watching and departure to Cayo Levantado for lunch and beach time (approximately 1.5 hours)
• 12:00 PM: Arrival at Cayo Levantado, lunch, and beach time
• 01:30 PM: Departure from Cayo Levantado to Samaná
• 01:50 PM: Arrival in Samaná, board the truck to Limón Waterfall
• 02:30 PM: Arrival at the ranch, horseback ride to the waterfall (approximately 2 hours at the waterfall)
• 04:30 PM: Return to the ranch, board the truck, and head to the Samaná dock
• 05:00 PM: Arrival at the dock, board the boat, and return to Las Cañitas and your hotels
